Mirgaan in Rajasthani Language literally means “The Art of Block Printing in Gold”
Block printing is the process of printing patterns by means of engraved wooden blocks. It is the earliest, simplest and slowest of all methods of textile printing.

“mirgaan” is an in-house contemporary clothing label created and founded by Sunita and Avinash Khathuria
“mirgaan” is a Rajasthani (Marwari) word which means “the art of golden block printing or painting.”
We here at “mirgaan” seek to provide you with the luxury of Flattering designs and silhouettes mostly on natural yarns-based fabrics which are sourced from the trusted weavers and printers, so that we can provide the best appearance and comfort in the clothes you step in and that’s the foundation of our label, which makes it what it is!
Our love for fabrics, the time we have invested in this industry, the fascination of witnessing the raw fabrics turning into these stunning pieces and finally seeing them on our beautiful clients, enhancing the beauty of our clothes and vice versa.
For us at “mirgaan”, the apparels are not just a piece of cloth turning into wearable garments but an amalgamation of thoughts, hard work and creativity that goes behind the whole creation.
Our Founder has been in textile and fashion industry for almost a decade now. Hence, the experience and knowledge he has gained all this while is the foremost asset of our label.

We believe in fair wages and giving the artisans their due credits for what they create with all their heart, we make sure they get their deserving wages and credits because without them, we wouldn’t have been where we are!
